This is to inform all community members that the BCLK election date has been officially finalized for July 5. We kindly encourage everyone to be prepared and actively participate in the election process.

On behalf of the Bhutanese Community of Lexington, Kentucky (BCLK), and in my capacity as its President, I extend my heartfelt New Year greetings and best wishes to all our community members, well-wishers, friends, and supporters.

As we step into the New Year, may it bring renewed hope, good health, peace, and prosperity to you and your families. The past year has reminded us of the strength of unity, resilience, and compassion within our community. Together, we have supported one another, preserved our culture, and continued to build a stronger foundation for future generations.
Let us welcome the New Year with optimism, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to uplift our community through understanding, service, and cooperation. May this year open new doors of opportunity, harmony, and success for all.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to making this program a grand success!!
Special appreciation goes to our dedicated team members, volunteers, community members, and generous donors ,including Healthy Adult Day Healthcare, local grocery stores such as Ghalley Brothers, Nepmart, Royal Mart, Magar Grocery, Realtor Bishnu Bastola, Prakash Acharya, Lex Farm, and Loan Officer Ram Mishra : as well as all local community supporters.
We would also like to acknowledge and thank photographer Sandip Shrestha, our invited guests, guest artists, and all participants, including LexDojo Karate, for their enthusiastic involvement and valuable contributions.

We are deeply saddened to share the passing of our beloved senior community member. Janak Lal Nepal who was born on September 8, 1937, in Lamidara, Chirang, Bhutan. At the age of 87, Janak Lal Nepal peacefully departed this life, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love.
Janak lal was a resident of the Sanischare camp in jhapa Nepal before moving to the United States.
late.Janak Lal was living in Lexington Kentucky With his Nephew, Dr Subash Nepal .
A funeral service to honor their life will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2024, from 10:00 AM
to 12:00 PM at 3000 Versailles Rd, Frankfort, KY.
Our hearts go out to the family during this time of profound loss. May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may the family find solace in the love and support of friends and community.
