Notice to the Community

Dear Members of the Bhutanese Community of Lexington, Kentucky,
We would like to inform you that, due to unforeseen technical difficulties, the BCLK Presidential Election scheduled for July 5 has been postponed until further notice.
The BCLK Board of Directors will meet to review the situation and determine the next steps. Following the board’s decision, an official announcement awill be shared with the community. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support. Thank you.

Notice to the BCLK Community - Upcoming Presidential Election Update. As per Bishnu Bastola, BCLK Election Commissioner, we have received nominations from two candidates for the position. Members interested in contesting the election are invited to reach out to Bishnu Bastola. A friendly reminder that voting will take place at the BCLK office located at 2350 Woodhill Dr, Lexington, KY 40509 on July 5, 2026, between 1 PM and 5 PM.

As we step into the New Year, may it bring renewed hope, good health, peace, and prosperity to you and your families. The past year has reminded us of the strength of unity, resilience, and compassion within our community. Together, we have supported one another, preserved our culture, and continued to build a stronger foundation for future generations.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to making this program a grand success!!
Special appreciation goes to our dedicated team members, volunteers, community members, and generous donors ,including Healthy Adult Day Healthcare, local grocery stores such as Ghalley Brothers, Nepmart, Royal Mart, Magar Grocery, Realtor Bishnu Bastola, Prakash Acharya, Lex Farm, and Loan Officer Ram Mishra : as well as all local community supporters.
We would also like to acknowledge and thank photographer Sandip Shrestha, our invited guests, guest artists, and all participants, including LexDojo Karate, for their enthusiastic involvement and valuable contributions.
