We’re bringing the first women’s monument – the “Something Is Being Done!” monument – to the Birthplace of American Liberty!
We’re recognizing women’s economic, political, intellectual, social, and cultural contributions to Lexington and our country.
We’re telling the stories of more than 20 women and girls across 300 years, their images and voices thoughtfully woven into a sculpture by nationally renowned sculptor, Meredith Bergmann.
We're thrilled that the sculpting has begun and invite you to be a part of this work, whether through volunteering, donating, or simply spreading the word about the monument.
