BIG NEWS!! Our league is merging with Southwest Lexington PONY Baseball effective immediately! The newly merged league will be known as Bluegrass Little League. This means one league at Cardinal Run Park. The reasons are simple: more resources in terms of fields, facilities, and people; more convenience to league leadership and families; and more balanced competitive play, yielding kids to be in divisions suitable to their respective skill level and age. We are so excited for this change for the kids in our community! Stay tuned for more information in the coming week! Shout out to VIZHEN for producing the video.

Our annual end-of-the-year clean up day at Cardinal Run is happening this coming Sunday, November 7 starting at 2pm. We need several volunteers to help with things like removing flags and banners from fences and moving portable mounds to storage. Drop a note here if you can help. Thanks!

Championship Sunday at the Western Rangers Rodeo gets underway at 9AM this morning. We have 4 talented Western teams competing today. Come on out to the park for some exciting end-of-summer baseball action!!

Our Western Rangers program is hosting a fantastic weekend of baseball action at Cardinal Run Park beginning Friday evening, 8/20, 6:00pm! If you or someone you know is looking for an event to join, we’d be honored to have you as our guest. Age groups from 6U thru 11U. Trophies for coach pitch champions, rings for player pitch, and really nice medals for all the runners-up.

Our Rangers teams need your help this weekend. We’re hosting the inaugural Western Rangers Rodeo at Cardinal Run Park 8/20-22. Proceeds from the event will support our 2022 Rangers program, teams and players. Volunteer opportunities include working the admission tents and/or event table, scoreboard operators, and field/facility crews. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!!

The Rangers 10U team battled all weekend in Georgetown, playing 5 games in 2 days. They played great ball on Sunday afternoon to win the Silver Bracket Championship!

Plenty of highlights for the weekend all around. Malcolm Hawley was on 🔥 hitting 3… that’s right, 3…home runs on Sunday. Nolan Lowe was dominant on the mound in the final game, striking out 8 of the 12 batters faced. Final score: Rangers 11, Rampage 1.
