HELP FOSTER NEEDED! PLEASE SHARE

She's probably roughly 2ish years old from my best guess
- heavily pregnant - maybe 1-2 weeks away from puppies if that
- bully breed- looks like a pocket bully
- very sweet with human, likes some dogs but doesn't like my Great Pyrenees but good with my lab mix
- I've had her for 6 weeks now (since April 28th) put up flyers, checked for microchip, posted on next door, 3 pages in the area , paw boost, petcolove. We have had zero people reach out about her.
- I am going out of town for a month and a half starting June 25th !
- I am desperately trying to keep her out of the shelter but without help I cannot do that. I have tried most of NC and reached all the way out to TN, SC, VA, and Georgia. So far everyone has sadly been full but maybe you can find a foster to help out 🤞🤞

“We had this sweet pup arrive in our driveway on Sunday morning (5/31/26). No collar and vet confirmed no chip. We are thinking this poor guy was dumped and left behind with how attentive he is towards people. He seems to be a young dog who loves to be near people, so much so that he does pretty well off leash. This sweet pup seems to be a blue heeler/corgi mix. We would love to be able to find him a home or foster placement as we have two dogs of our own that are currently isolated to ensure safety and care for this sweet guy. We won’t be able to keep him much longer due to our schedules and the medical needs of our other dog. Please reach out if you are interested in fostering this dog.”

This dog who we have called “Charlie” showed up on the Saturday before Mother’s Day. There were about 20 people here including kids. He was great with all of us and especially the children. He was covered with ticks and fleas. He was under weight and his ribs were showing. We gave him a flea and tick treatment the next day. We removed all the ticks and gave him a bath. He did well with the bath. We got him some food and a water bottle and within a couple days he was feeling a lot better. He has had 3 baths to date. He likes to be brushed. He love the Milk-bone Gravy bones and Purina Dog Chow. He is so sweet and loving. He will hug you when you first come home and see him. I took him to the vet, and they couldn’t find a chip. He loves to roam, so a fenced in yard would be perfect. We feel we were the right people at the right time to help him look and feel good again. We put it out on Facebook to let people know he was with us if anyone was missing him. We would keep him but, we are on the go doing things and we just don’t have the time or fenced in yard for him to run.
