Announcement: riders do not have to qualify for the 2022 UPHA Exceptional Challenge Cup National Championship Finals.

The UPHA Board of Directors has voted to eliminate the qualification requirements for the 2022 UPHA Exceptional Challenge cup National Finals held at the UPHA American Royal National Championship Horse Show.

The UPHA Board of Directors has amended the qualification requirements for the 2021 UPHA Exceptional Challenge cup National Finals.

The requirement a rider must have placed first through sixth in a UPHA Exceptional Challenge Cup qualifying class in order to compete in the National Championship Finals has been eliminated.
