USEF would like to congratulate Michael Arquilla on his victorious ride winning the gold medal at USEF Saddle Seat Medal Finals. Michael bested a field of 19 elite saddle seat equitation riders from all parts of the United States to win this prestigious championship. This was the culmination of a great week for Michael adding to his win of the UPHA Challenge Cup Finals.

We would also like to congratulate Alayna Applegate as reserve champion claiming the silver medal for the second year in a row. Quite an accomplishment for the youngest rider in the field of 19 who entered the gate for the finals!

A special congratulations to all of the riders in this year’s USEF Saddle Seat Medal Final at the UPHA American Royal National Championship Horse Show! You should be very proud of the hard work and dedication required to compete in this historic event.

Congratulations to all of the riders in the USEF Saddle Seat Medal Final at the UPHA American Royal National Championship Horse Show! The staff of USEF’s National Affiliates Department hope you had a rewarding experience performing in this event.

A special congratulations to Haley Berget for winning the USEF Saddle Seat Medal Final on Saturday becoming only the fourteenth person to win the Saddle Seat Equitation Triple Crown. In winning the USEF Medal Final she successfully completed the third leg of the Triple Crown, which includes the Good Hands, held earlier this year and the UPHA Challenge Cup Final at the American Royal Horse Show just days prior to the Medal. Haley really had a special year, which also included riding for the U.S. World Cup Five Gaited team and winning gold against South Africa and Namibia.

We also offer congratulations to Alayna Applegate claiming reserve champion!! She certainly has a bright future to look forward to, competing as the youngest rider in the Medal Final at just 12 years of age!!
