exington’s New Circle Road beltway, our hidden neighborhood jewel is bordered by Harrodsburg Road, Pasadena Drive, Clays Mills Road and Waco Road. Within one mile of churches, public and private schools, dining and lodging establishments, Southland Park’s baseball fields and swimming pools, a branch of Lexington’s Public Library and bakeries, Pasadena Neighborhood is a perfect location. Within two miles of Lexington Fayette Mall, St. Joseph Hospital and Medical Center and Southland Drive and Beaumont retail corridors you can find just about anything within three minutes from home. The PNA boasts of one of Lexington’s safest neighborhoods! Consistently listed in the Lexington Fayette County’s Crime Reports as one of the lowest crime areas, nevertheless, residents are working together to incorporate a city sanctioned Neighborhood Watch so everyone can continue to feel safe and secure. Neighborhood schools include Clays Mill Elementary, Jessie Clark Middle School, Mary Queen Elementary, Lafayette High School and Lexington Catholic High School. Within five driving minutes is the Paul Lawrence Dunbar Science Magnet High School. Neighborhood churches are Broadway Baptist Church, Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary and Clays Mill Road Baptist Church. Opportunities abound with the Southland Public Park one mile away. Located in an adjacent neighborhood, Southland Park offers baseball fields, playgrounds and infant, children and adult swimming pools. Just look for the big green frog slide! Join us one week from today for the first event of Council’s new Expo Series: Transportation!

The Expo is a casual drop-in event and will cover a range of transportation-related topics, including bike and pedestrian safety, public and mass transit, and road improvements. It is another opportunity for residents to connect with decision-makers, share their experiences, and contribute to the conversation about the future of Lexington's transportation system.
