When you think of West Coast Swing in Lexington, KY, most people think of Robert Kosieniak, the Ambassador for West Coast Swing in Central Kentucky. But how often do you see him wearing a sparkly jacket and tie? Robert is our instructor this Sunday and will share his love for West Coast Swing and social dancing.
West Coast swing developed in the crowded dance floors of California and is a slotted dance with emphasis on compression and extension. That's just a fancy way of saying it's a great dance for playing with your partner.
Everyone is welcome. Singles, Couples, Beginners to Pro. You are sure to have a great time.
Doors open at 6pm and the lesson starts at 6:30. Dancing follows the lesson. DJ Dave will have the music going so come early and get some extra time on the floor (and extra time to talk meet new friends.
