Rain or shine a free showing of Waitress will take place at the Mullen Gathering Place Pavilion. Pack a cooler and bring your friends!

Feel free to lounge in your own chairs or on a blanket. We’ll also have the covered pavilion available and popcorn!

The movie will begin at 7pm and Rockbridge Recovery will be offering Rapid REVIVE! training beforehand. Doors open at 6:30pm.

A study done in 2024 pulled data from intimate partner violence-related homicides between the years of 2003 and 2021. Their findings showed that, “a total of 24,581 homicides of Hispanic and Latino persons were reported.” 2,400 were related to Intimate Partner Violence and 59.5% (1,453) were female.

These numbers reflect a concerning reality for victims and survivors of intimate partner violence within Hispanic and Latino communities. At Project Horizon, we provide support and services for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking, while also working in the community through prevention, education, and outreach efforts to help raise awareness and promote safer, healthier communities.

October is Domestic Violence awareness month and we are painting the town purple!🫟

You may notice local businesses with purple decor up as we spread awareness collectively. Participation can include you by wearing purple on Thursday’s! 💜
