Since Lions clubs were established, Lions have been dedicated to giving back to their communities. Lions clubs provide community parks, playgrounds, senior citizen programs and medical care for those in need. Lions remain committed to improving the lives of those less fortunate—around the world and right at home. Our local activities include :

The Lexington Lions Annual Fourth of July carnival opens on Wednesday, July 2nd at 6pm. Fireworks are on Wednesday, July 2nd at 9:30pm. The fireworks start depends on weather and safety issues as determined by the Lexington Fire Department.

2025 marks 250 years since the Battle of Lexington and the start of the American Revolution.

The traditional Patriots' Day events will still take place, including the sunrise reenactment on the historic Lexington Battle Green, the annual 5-mile run, and the afternoon parade; In 2025, all of these events will occur on Saturday, April 19th, 2025.

Patriots' Day 2025 extends beyond a single day. The celebration started in April when the Lex250 Commission kicked off a 365-day countdown. Numerous events and activities are planned leading up to Patriots' Day. You can find a complete schedule and details on the official Lex250 website.
