Great news article on our new merged Family Scouting unit with Troop 92 - BSA.

Locally, Troop 29, which has served Rockbridge County since 1938, has merged with our girls’ Troop 92. The two troops shared meetings, activities, and campouts for several years before officially merging this summer to become a family unit, now identified as Troop 292.

Great job to all our Scouts, Leaders and family members who came out and parked cars in support of the Palmer Center Ice Cream Supper! Rainy, a bit humid and sunshine our Scouts did a wonderful job, Be Prepared, and Do a Good Turn Daily!

Great 3 day campout this weekend as our Scouts and Leaders participated in the Mountain Valley District, VAHC New Market 2026 Spring Camporee. Scouts from Troop 29 - BSA and Troop 92 - BSA has a fun and exciting weekend.
