Our mission is to end extreme poverty and violence in Honduras through education and youth empowerment! At the University of Kentucky Chapter of Students Helping Honduras, we focus our efforts toward organizing fund raising events in order to participate to service trips and to support the objectives of the larger organization (from building schools and orphanages to housing). We do all this, rais

Today, the construction team and high school volunteers laid the floors for Escuela Liberación Campesina. Despite starting early in the morning and the heat, we were able to push through and successfully fill all the classrooms.
