Camp Shawano is 142 acres set on the bluffs above the Kentucky River in Jessamine County, KY consisting of large meadows for sports and recreational activities, a climbing tower, and facilities for year round use.

WILDERNESS FIRST AID TRAINING! Be prepared for outdoor emergencies with hands-on Wilderness First Aid training at Woodview Lodge at Camp Shawano. Participants will learn practical skills for assessing and responding to injuries and illnesses in outdoor settings.

When: Saturday, November 7 & Sunday, November 8
An optional CPR/AED class is available Friday, November 6, from 6:00–9:00 PM for $40. CPR/AED certification is required for Wilderness First Aid.
Levels: Senior, Ambassador, and Adult

TOMORROW IS THE LAST DAY TO REGISTER FOR THIS EVENT!

Join us on Saturday, August 22, for a guided kayaking adventure designed for Girl Scouts and adults who want to build confidence on the water while enjoying one of Kentucky's most beautiful rivers. Whether you're new to kayaking or have paddled before, this is a fun way to spend the day outdoors.

Time: 11:00 AM–4:00 PM
Location: Put in at Lock 7
Open to: Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, Ambassadors, and adults
Cost: $50 per person

Please bring:
Sack lunch
Reusable water bottle
Clothes and closed-toe shoes that can get wet

Space is limited to 18 participants, with a minimum of 6 participants required for the event to take place.
