The Bangladeshi Student Association at the University of Kentucky (BSAUK) is deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Zamil Ahamed Limon and Nahida Sultana Bristy, two talented Bangladeshi graduate students at the University of South Florida.

This fundraiser has been launched by Zamil’s graduate supervisor at USF in cooperation with the Bangladesh Student Association and with the consent of both bereaved families. The fund will help support funeral proceedings, transfer of remains and belongings, and other urgent financial burdens caused by this heartbreaking tragedy.

We kindly request everyone to support the families during this difficult time. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will help ease their burden as Zamil and Nahida make their final return to Bangladesh.

Hello everyone! This is a gentle reminder about one of the most anticipated events of BSAUK - ‘পিঠা উৎসব এবং আন্তর্জাতিক ভাষা দিবস উদযাপন’ - happening on February 14th at 4.30PM! We are glad to see that many of you have already registered to set up stalls at the event. If anyone is still interested in registering for a stall, there is still time. The deadline for stall registration is February 7, 2026. Last date of registration is February 7,12.00am.
If you are interested, please feel free to add your name and specify the pitha or snack items you'll be making. There's no limit on the number of stalls, and multiple stalls can offer the same items. To make the event smoother, consider mentioning the price of the pitha on the event day and providing your PayPal or Zelle account details for easy transactions. Though it's suggested to bring some cash.

Here's the fantastic news: at the end of the Pitha Utshob, there are three gifts based on the food's flavors, decoration of the stall, and best-selling stall. Water and tablecloth will be provided from BSAUK.

Let's make this event a memorable celebration of delicious treats! We can’t wait to see you on the 14th!

২। একজন প্রতিযোগী এক বা একাধিক ছবি জমা দিতে পারবেন এবং আমাদের ফেসবুক গ্রুপে প্রমোশন করতে পারবেন।
৩। প্রতিটি ছবির জন্য আলাদা ক্যাপশন আবশ্যক।
