WE WILL MISS YOU!!
The time has come in our industry for the next wave of organizations to move forward. We must listen to our trustees and members, whose energy and time to push our mission onward has markedly diminished. Additionally, we want to be respectful of the origins of the Foundation: why it was established; what its purpose served for both APDT and its members. Therefore, after much discussion, contemplation, and evaluation, the Foundation came to the difficult decision to cease operations and dissolve all assets. It is time – and the support of our organization was too sparse to maintain functionality. We will miss you at conference this year; however, our VP Catherine nd Secretary-Treasurer Suzanne will represent us and answer your questions. Thank you for your historical support of the APDT Foundation and our many programs over the years.

🐾LAST CALL!🐾 Deadline to apply for a Foundation grant is May 2! Apply here: https://apdtfoundation.org/grants/ The mission of the APDT Foundation is to provide funding for applied scientific research on dog training & behavior and to further increase the knowledge base of the dog training profession.

The APDT Foundation will offer up to five (5) grants annually of $2500 each.

Submission categories include:
✅behavior analysis
✅ethology
✅cognition
✅training & behavior modification interventions

The proposing institution must be an accredited degree-granting college/university or non-profit research institution.

Interested individuals do not necessarily need to be a member of the APDT to participate in this Foundation program.

Please consider an end of year donation......without RESEARCH, we may not know what these dogs are telling their humans. DONATE to further the REASEARCH and EDUCATION into other dog topics (and get credit on your 2023 taxes).
