Last week the RAHC Mobile Dental Unit made its way to Goshen Community Center — this is a day in the life for our team. 🦷

Early morning, the team loads up the unit — equipment checked, supplies stocked, everything in its place. Our dental staff knows this drive. They know the community and many of the patients they'll see today. This clinic removes a very real barrier between them and the care they need.

For a patient, it might look like this: You've been putting off a cleaning because getting to Lexington isn't easy. You walk up. Someone greets you. The care is the same quality you'd find anywhere — it just came to you.

That's what our mobile dental team does, week in and week out — they pack up, show up, and bring accessible, high-quality dental care to the corners of Rockbridge that need it most.

Thank you to our dental staff for your dedication, your skill, and the extra effort it takes to do this work on the road. You are the reason this works.

Two years ago, Rockbridge Area Health Center helped bring primary and behavioral healthcare directly into local schools through School-Based Health Centers.

This fall, that care expands even further with a new School-Based Health Center opening in Buena Vista City Public Schools. 💚

By bringing healthcare directly into schools, RAHC is helping reduce barriers for rural families and making it easier for students to stay healthy, supported, and ready to learn.

We accept Medicaid and most major insurance. No coverage? Talk to us - we're here to help. Learn more at RockAHC.org or call (540) 464-8700.
