A few days ago we received word that the kiddos from done an amazing thing. They bagged up cat food to fill up our little pantry. The students got word that a local pet shelter needed food for its pet blessing box, and the LIFEworks kiddos got right to work! They filled 16 gallon-size Ziploc bags with cat food, Valerie Steenhad the privilege of dropping them off.
Just a couple of days ago, that blessing box was full. Today, it was completely empty. The need is there, we need your help keeping it stocked!
If you have unused or unwanted pet food, opened or unopened, please send it our way. We will happily bag it up and get it to pets in need. Donations of new pet food are always welcome, too! Publix even has 3-pound bags of cat food on a buy-one-get-one-free sale this week. Please reach out to Valerie if you would like to assist in this amazing Project of feeding our community pets. We are so grateful to have the LIFEworks students help us feed our community pets ❤️

Good morning, in the past month we helped several dogs. All these dogs needed vet care . A single mom that is raising 5 kids reached out for help. The family truly loves this dog but could not afford the vet care for this dog. This dog was completely vetted and will be spayed. Fritz, the local street dog finally was seen by the vet. He has been vetted and is set for neuter. Lady from a different county was vetted as well. In order to prevent dogs from entering the shelter system we try to help as much as possible. Just yesterday a gentleman reached out about his 14 year old dog that fell of the bed and is now limping. We can not assist him unless we raise funds. Veterinary care cost’s money and we need help trying to keep up with the demand of the community needing help with animals veterinary care. Donations can be made in several ways: PayPal [email protected], Venmo @-ftlstreetdogscorp or our website: www.ftlstreetdogs.org simply click the donate buttons. Last week we started to receive messages and phone calls from a young sweet lady that needed her dog fixed. She stated she called everywhere to get help to get a street dog fixed. Crying and upset about prices that were given and nobody would help her. Our small rescue agreed to help her get this dog spayed. Yesterday Lady was spayed❤️. Her life as a house dog has begun. She is loved now and cherished. We would like to do our 5 dollar Friday in honor of a street dog that needs altering. Every penny helps when a dog is in need of altering.
