Creativity came to life at Bowman School thanks to a School Community Grant from the Lexington Education Foundation!

LEF proudly awarded more than $5,000 to support Lexington resident and former Bowman parent Sharon Swan of Rollerbird Designs in creating two custom murals at Bowman.

What made this project especially meaningful was the opportunity for students to be part of the creative process. Sharon transformed Bowman into a temporary working studio for 10 days, allowing classes to observe her work in real time and experience firsthand how a professional artist brings an idea from initial concept to large-scale masterpiece.

These vibrant murals will inspire Bowman students for years to come while celebrating the power of creativity, community, and hands-on learning.
