October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 🎗️💗

Breast cancer awareness is about more than wearing pink. It’s about knowing the warning signs, understanding your risks, staying on top of recommended screenings, and looking out for the people we love.

Here in Lexington, we’re fortunate to have healthcare providers like Lexington Health and Prisma Health working to educate our community and provide access to breast health services and screenings.

The Lexington Chamber & Visitors Center encourages our community to take this month as a reminder to have those important conversations, prioritize your health, and encourage friends and family to do the same.

To those currently facing breast cancer, those who have overcome it, and the families remembering loved ones, our community stands with you. 💗

A little awareness, a conversation, or a reminder to schedule a mammogram can make a meaningful difference.

Main Street is looking a little spooky these days... 👻

The 5th Annual Scarecrow Stroll has officially kicked off, bringing a whole lot of fall fun to downtown Lexington! Hosted by the Lexington Chamber and Visitors Center, this is your perfect excuse to enjoy a stroll through downtown, check out nearly 50 seriously creative scarecrows, and show some love to our local shops and restaurants along the way.

Make your vote count! Once you've landed on a favorite scarecrow, simply react to that photo in this post to cast your vote for the People's Choice Award. (Voting is open October 13-29, on this post ONLY! 🗳️) Winners will be posted on the Town of Lexington's page and recognized at the Lexington Chamber's Business Over Breakfast meeting on November 10.

What a fantastic morning with our Lexington business community! ☀️☕

We had a stellar turnout at this morning’s Business Over Breakfast, proudly presented by Wonderly Lights of SC Midlands !

Our program featured Dr. Keith Price, Superintendent of Lexington County School District One , who shared updates on the State of the District. Attendees had the opportunity to hear the latest on the district and gain insight into the work shaping education in our community.

We also celebrated a special business milestone! Congratulations to AAA Heating & Air, LLC. on 20 years in business! 🎉 Thank you for being part of our local business community.
