The Sam Houston Ruritan Club owns and operates a 4800 square foot "Barn" that can be rented for all types of events, from auctions (live and on line), flea markets, car shows, parties, reunions, wedding receptions, and many more. The front section of the "Barn" (approx. 1600 sq ft) is air conditioned and heated, and can be separated from the rest of the facility by a sliding curtain. Bathroom and full kitchen facilities are available as well. SHRC also offers boat, camper, and vehicle storage space for winter months, and SHRC maintains 19 storage bins that can be rented by the month. UPCOMING!! Our semi-annual Bazaar/craft show/flea market will be November 7, 2026 from 8 to 1. Tables are still available at $15.00 each. Many returning vendors plus many new ones. Good food from the Ruritan kitchen and lots of great door prizes.

Upcoming events at Sam Houston Ruritan Club. BAZAAR- Saturday, November 7, 2026 8 to 1. We need vendors for crafts, baked goods, and flea market selections. Tables are $15.00 each. Give us a shout and we will reserve for you. NEED A PLACE TO STORE YOUR TRAILER, BOAT, CLASSIC CAR, SDE BY SIDE OR ???. November 21-March 20. $200 for 4 months out of the elements, safe and secure. Spaces available. Thanks.
