🇺🇸🏍️AMERICAN LEGION RIDERS Post 77🏍️🇺🇸
We had a great turnout tonight for our ALR monthly meeting following the SAL meeting!
🍽️ With TT’s assistance , LilBit survived 😬 her first attempt at cooking for such a big crowd! Nobody went hungry, and nobody complained 😳… at least not to my face! 🤣 I’d call that a success!
A big thank you to everyone who brought those delicious desserts 🧁 🍰 🍮 ! They were the perfect finishing touch!
A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who attended, contributed, and continues to support our cause. Together, we’re more than just a group of riders — we’re family with a purpose! ❤️🏍️🇺🇸
🏍️🇺🇸 Proud to be part of this ALR family! 🏍️🇺🇸
A few of you asked for the recipe. Here it is 👇🏼

⭐️👉🏼 LilBit's Homemade Meat Lasagna (6–8 servings)
INGREDIENTS
• 1½ lbs ground beef
• ½ lb mild Italian sausage
• 2 jars (24 oz each) marinara sauce
• ½ medium onion, diced
• 3 garlic cloves, minced
• 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
• 15 oz whole-milk ricotta cheese
• 1 large egg
• 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
• ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
• 8–12 oven-ready lasagna noodles (as needed)
• 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
• ½–¾ cup water, if needed to loosen thick sauce
• Salt and black pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
1. Brown beef, sausage, and onion; drain. Add garlic, marinara, and seasoning. Simmer 15–20 minutes. Thin thick sauce with water.
2. Mix ricotta, egg, ¼ cup Parmesan, parsley, salt and pepper.
3. In a 9 × 13-inch pan, layer sauce, dry oven-ready noodles, half the ricotta, meat sauce and mozzarella. Repeat. Finish with noodles, remaining sauce, mozzarella and Parmesan. Cover all noodles with sauce.
4. Cover tightly with foil. Bake at 375°F for 40–45 minutes. Uncover and bake 10–15 minutes more, until 165°F in center and noodles tender.
5. Rest 15–20 minutes before slicing.
Make ahead: Refrigerate assembled lasagna overnight; allow 15–20 extra minutes to bake.
