🐾 Calling All Pet-Friendly Businesses & Venues! 🐾

Our local 501(c)(3) animal rescue is looking to expand our network of community partners, and we’re hoping for your recommendations!

We are based in Lafayette County (originally Lexington, MO) and proudly serve Eastern Jackson County as well. We’re currently searching for pet-friendly businesses, restaurants, breweries, wineries, retail locations, and event venues that may be willing to host adoption events and/or fundraising events for our rescue.

For adoption events, we typically bring adoptable dogs and cats for a 2–4 hour event where potential adopters can meet them in person. We are also interested in partnering with businesses that may prefer to host fundraising nights, percentage-of-sales events, or other community-focused initiatives.

Partnering with a local rescue is a great way to:
🐾 Support homeless animals in our community
🐾 Bring new visitors and potential customers to your business
🐾 Gain positive community exposure through shared marketing and promotion
🐾 Make a meaningful difference for local pets in need

Sometimes the dogs who have every reason to give up are the ones who love the hardest.
These two pitties who are searching for the forever homes they deserve. These sweet girls were dumped and abandoned, left to fend for themselves, but they haven't let their past define them.

Together, they're affectionately known as our little "house hippos"—full of personality, goofy charm, and endless cuddles! While they do not need to be adopted together, both girls are hoping someone will give them the chance to experience what it's like to be truly loved and cherished.

Female Border Collie.
Looking for Owner, foster , or adopter..

Dog is currently between Waverly and Grandpass Mo.

If someone can help with her, I will continue to work on making friends with her so we can get her into a home.

This girl, a male border collie and a few cats, are presumed dumped a week or so ago. Male possibly has a home. Not sure what happened to the cats. This girl still needs placement. She is fearful right now and is not contained. I think once she is contained, she will be fine, but not sure. The property owner is feeding her but she is allowed to roam freely and has been getting in the highway often.

Please stop dumping your pets. They can become fearful and even be fear aggressive. This is terrible for the dog and puts everyone trying to help, in a bad situation. Even the most friendly dogs, can be fearful when lost or dumped, which can result in death for the dog or someone getting bit.
