Congratulations to Logan, who completed his scoutmaster conference for the Eagle rank tonight. He will now submit his application for Eagle and, if it is approved, go before a Board of Review. You’re almost there, Logan!

Logan’s Eagle service project was to lead the construction of a Hot Wheels race track and garage for Sistercare to bring joy and fun to the lives of kids staying in a domestic violence shelter.

We, with our fellow scouts in Scouts BSA Troop 425, walked the length of Millstream Road and collected a truckload of trash. We’ve adopted this stretch of road for many years now and we’re proud to do our part to keep our community clean and beautiful.

Life Scout Will Cohoon took the airwaves today to spread the word about his Eagle Scout service project—a 5K race he’s planning to combat childhood hunger in our community.

Hello, my name is Will Cohoon. I chose to create the Fill the Pack 5K as my Eagle Scout service project because fitness is important to me and because I want to help fight childhood hunger in our community. The race will be professionally timed on a USATF-certified course. Runners and walkers are welcome. Please join me on January 18!

We were excited to be joined by Webelos and Arrow of Light scouts from Pack 425 and Pack 111 for a fun campout at Mission Lake. This campout had it all—a brilliant supermoon, meteor shower, scout skills activities, gaga ball, gourmet deep fried pickles, and a Gamecock victory around the campfire. Hopefully our visitors got a good taste of the fun and camaraderie of scouting at the troop level. Many thanks to all the adult leaders and scouts whose hard work made the weekend a success.

Our scouts were proud to raise the flag for the final day of the South Carolina State Fair. The nice folks of Daley’s Dogs gave them all free corndogs for helping out. We appreciate it!
