CONGRATULATIONS to Troop 9221’s FIRST EAGLE SCOUT!

There are some moments as a Scoutmaster that you know you will never forget, and this is definitely one of them.

I have had the privilege of watching you grow throughout this journey—not just as a Scout, but as a leader and as a young woman. I’ve watched you work through challenges, learn from mistakes, step up when you were needed, and keep moving forward even when the path wasn’t easy.

Today, all of that hard work and perseverance has paid off.

I hope you understand just how proud I am of you. Being your Scoutmaster and having the opportunity to be a small part of your journey has meant more to me than you probably realize.

And while earning Eagle Scout is an incredible accomplishment all by itself, you will forever hold a special place in the history of our troop as Troop 9221’s very first Eagle Scout. 🦅

You set the example. You proved it could be done. And you created a path for the Scouts coming behind you to follow.

The badge you earned today represents years of work, but the character, leadership, friendships, and memories you’ve built along the way are what will stay with you for the rest of your life.

Congratulations, Eagle. I could not be more proud of you and everything you have accomplished.

Let me brag on my leaders this week. We laughed so hard my cheeks hurt, had serious conversations, solved problems, and connected with each other. On top of all that, I had 3 of my leaders complete IOLS and become trained over the week. They worked hard and I am beyond proud!!!!

More summer camp pictures. These girls were busy this week!!! They camped outside with a self made shelter, made friends, sang songs, laughed, stayed up late. This is what core memories look like!!!

Summer camp has came and went but the memories will last a lifetime. What a week of old friends, new friends,learning and laughing, with a slight scare from Mother Nature! Nothing beats camping at Cherokee Scout Reservation

We had our Court of Honor tonight at Paul's Chapel Reformed Church. Several awards, merit badges, rank advancements and new leadership roles announced. We continue to grow and help mold future leaders.
