1. This creation story differs from other ancient Near Eastern creation myths by portraying God creating through speech and order rather than violence. What does this reveal about the character of God, and how might it shape Christian approaches to power and leadership?
2. Genesis 1 follows a rhythmic pattern of evening and morning, work and rest. What spiritual practices or communal rhythms could help cultivate balance, wholeness, and trust in God today?
3. The passage culminates in Sabbath rest. In a culture shaped by productivity, consumerism, and exhaustion, what might Sabbath mean for individuals, congregations, and communities today?

It’s game time! 🏈 The University of Kentucky kicks off their home season Saturday, August 30th at Kroger Field.

Football parking for UK home games is available at Hunter Presbyterian Church, 109 Rosemont Garden, Lexington, KY.

Spaces are available at the main parking lot and in our secondary lot on Rosemont Garden. Season passes and single game passes available. Go Cats!
