Fall has been a beautiful season of growing, harvesting, and sharing at Acres of Hope. 🌿🎃

Over the past several weeks, we’ve been able to provide pumpkins to families and to a variety of local nonprofits — simply for the joy of carving, creating, and coming together. Something so simple can become a way to build connection and community.

We’ve loved seeing our pumpkins bring color and laughter to gatherings with our friends at Urban Impact Lexington and others across our city. And here at Acres of Hope, we’ve spent time reflecting on what it means to be rooted in community — to share what we have, to support one another, and to find beauty in the work of partnership.

This season has reminded us again how much joy can come from generosity, presence, and growing together. 🍂

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.” – Hebrews 10:24

Huge thanks to Bluegrass Christian Camp and the Fann family for letting us hang out and have such a wonderful time on Sunday! We loved getting to connect, laugh, and just enjoy the evening together. You guys made it very special — we’re so grateful!

Another wonderful young man behind the wheel of a dependable used vehicle - reliable transportation (which many of us take for granted) opens so many doors of opportunity! We are very thankful for Second Gear, and specifically Brad Jinkerson, who has generously donated his time and mechanical expertise to help us meet this practical need. If you have a used vehicle you're considering selling or trading in, a tax-deductible donation to a 501C3 may be another good option to get a young person on the road.
