Why does Jesus start flipping tables…right before Passover?

It’s not random. And it’s not just about corruption.

At the very same time, Jewish families were clearing their homes of chametz (leaven)…Jesus was doing something similar in His Father’s house.

And then there’s the fig tree. Full of leaves. No fruit.

It all connects. Once you see it, you won’t read this moment the same way again.

“A lamb rides into Jerusalem on a donkey…”

An image so ridiculous, we had to imagine it for a moment. Sounds like the start of a joke.

It’s not.

It’s the moment everything shifts.
Not a king coming to take power.
A Lamb coming to give His life.

They waved palms.
He was thinking Passover.

The story was always bigger than they imagined.
It's probably bigger than we've imagined as well.

We can’t forget: Jesus was Jewish.

The Last Supper was a Passover Seder. Every cup. Every element. Every symbol tells the story of redemption.

If you want to understand Passion Week more deeply, start at the Exodus.

Attend our local Seder, March 15th.

From the beginning to the end, it’s all about the Lamb.

In Exodus, a lamb’s blood marked the doorposts.
In the Gospels, a Lamb’s blood marked the cross.
One story. One redemption plan. One faithful God.

The Passover Seder is the meal Jesus shared the night before His crucifixion. If you’ve never experienced it, you are missing a key to understanding His death and resurrection.

Join us Sunday, March 15, 2026 in Lexington, KY for a full Passover Seder.

A beautifully prepared meal.
Ancient symbols explained.
The Exodus and the Messiah brought together at one table.

Seats are limited. Don’t settle for half the story. Link in bio.

The sacred secular divide may be one of the most damaging lies believers carry. If work is worship and mission is everyday life, then the workplace becomes one of the most strategic arenas for ministry. It starts with mindset.

The promise to Abraham was never narrow.

Israel was not chosen instead of the nations.
Israel was chosen for the nations.

“In you all the families of the earth will be blessed.” - Genesis 12:3

That calling is echoed again in Isaiah:

“I will make you as a light for the nations, that My salvation may reach to the ends of the earth.” - Isaiah 49:6

Jesus repeats it in the Sermon on the Mount:

“You are the light of the world.” - Matthew 5:14

And He commissions it to His disciples:

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” - Matthew 28:19

The promise was always outward.
It is still unfolding.
And it is still to be fulfilled, in full.

Israel is a people with a memory. A covenant. A calling.

We believe the Church understands its own story better when it understands Israel’s.

Our mission is simple: to help Israel tell her story with clarity, depth, and relationship at the center.

Israel’s story did not begin in 1948.
It did not begin in the headlines.
It began with a promise.

From Abraham to Sinai.
From exile to return.
From covenant to Messiah.

We exist to retell the unbroken storyline of Israel - faithfully, biblically, and without apology.

“Israel doesn’t just need allies; she needs friends who will help her tell her story. Against a tide of propaganda, God is raising voices who will stand with His people.”

When we say The Jewish Road is helping Israel tell her story, we mean it literally. God has opened doors through Israel’s Ministry of Tourism and Ministry of Foreign Affairs for us to create teaching content, film in the Land, and help Israel explain her story to the nations, and to the church. This isn’t politics. It’s prophecy unfolding.
