We are honored to share that our survivor, LP—strong, compassionate, and unwavering—has been invited by the SCPPP to speak and assist with S*x Offender training for officers and cadets at the South Carolina Justice Academy.
Her immediate yes was deeply healing for her family.
From the voice of a 9-year-old child, to the fury of a 14-year-old survivor, LP will share the hard-earned wisdom of an old soul shaped by truth. Her testimony exposes the true monstrosity of predators and the failures of a broken system; while standing as living proof of resilience.
When she speaks, conviction will be ignited!
When she finishes, her voice will remain…
not as a wound, but as the sound of growth!!

Wanted to give all of you an update regarding the Probation Revocation hearing for Daniel Newbanks that was had on July 28th. Everyone was there and we thought this was actually going to be heard. Something that truly surprised me. The Defendant’s Attorney argued with the judge regarding his request for continuance to allow their expert to examine the devices he had in his possession (which was a violation of his probation in and of itself) prompting the just to adjourn the hearing until he had gotten through some other cases. They all met in Chambers along with Assistant Prosecutor from the Attorney General’s office. When they came back the judge granted the continuance. I was a little surprised until the victims advocate informed me that apparently the AG prosecutor has already extended Newbanks a plea bargain for his new charges!!! Yall I kept my composure and went off on her as politely as I could. This is the same AG prosecutor that gave him the first plea bargain that consisted of credit of time served including house arrest he never followed and suspended the remaining 3 years of one charge and the same credit for time served and 10 years suspended with 5 years of probation and s*x offender registry. In ny opinion it looks like his legal team is grasping at straws trying to find a defense somewhere before advising his client on whether to take the deal or not. If he takes the deal he can have the plea hearing the same day as the revocation hearing so it saves the courts time and the Defendant attorneys fees if his retainer has been maxed. So on goes this case. And I don’t know what is going on with the SCAG’s office but it sure doesn’t look like they care all that much about the children in this state.

This is a Nationwide issue. These kids are not getting justice and the sickos are getting away with a slap on the wrist. This is why we push for change!! It has to start somewhere and it takes people like all of you to support this change.

An Arkansas man who blamed alcohol for impregnating a child last year pleaded guilty this week to a lesser charge.

Last month, a supporter and good friend asked that I start a petition for those who cannot attend the upcoming hearing for the Revocation of Probation for Daniel Newbanks. Instead of collecting names as I know some don’t wish to just give their names and the necessary information for a Judge to even think about considering, online to someone they don’t personally know. I did a “Where Do You Stand” survey instead. Your participation will certainly make the victim feel supported in a way she hasn’t experienced before. So here you go! Thank you in advance for your support!

Good Evening Supporters and Fellow Advocates of Children everywhere!!

A new hearing date for the Probation Revocation of Convicted Child Molester and alleged reoffender Daniel Newbanks, of Columbia, S.C. has been set for Friday, July 25th, 2025 at 9:00 am. This is an open hearing that can be attended by anyone and we would love to have many supporters sitting in the seats around the family of the victim. The hearing will be held at the Richland County Courthouse in Columbia, South Carolina.

If you want to attend remember to come dressed in appropriate court attire and to conduct yourselves in a civil manner. The details of the specific probation violations will be read allowed during the proceedings and may be triggering or enraging. It is important that we all breathe through these emotions so there are no disruptions during the hearing. Thank you all for liking, sharing and supporting us during this. I will post updates as they come, hope to see some of you there!

UPDATE: Y’all aren’t going to believe this but… 🤬🤬🤬🤬 I just got off the phone with the victims advocate!!! They have to reschedule AGAIN!!!! This time it is because all of the judges have a conference that day. I am beyond infuriated!!! God help him because he will be getting the brunt of all of my rage and frustration from this insanity!! Stay tuned for the new scheduled date.

He’s scared and he should be. Join me in this public hearing to show the judge the community’s desire to keep our children safe from this predator and to support his victims.
