Back home in Kentucky this morning, I stood in front of my coffee maker for a minute wondering why the 24 hour coffee machine wasn’t filling my cup. 😂

SKYVIEW RANCH HAS SPOILED US.

I’m still a little fuzzy after such a great Ohio WITO weekend, and I haven’t even unloaded the car yet!

There is something about pulling into Skyview that feels a little like arriving at summer camp did when we were kids. You get there and it’s big hellos, bigger hugs, old friends, new friends, and within no time everybody is headed in different directions learning, teaching, helping, laughing and trying something new.

We probably ought to warn the newcomers that we aren’t going to bear hug them when they first arrive. We save that for Sunday after we’ve known them all weekend. 😂💙

And Skyview is aptly named. Those sunsets were showing off!

It is truly amazing to watch Amy, the volunteers, instructors, Skyview staff, and everyone behind the scenes take all the parts and pieces, coming from so many different places and people, and somehow pulling them together into a weekend that just WORKS so well.

So a HUGE thank you to everyone who volunteered and stepped in wherever needed, to the instructors who shared their time and knowledge, and to Skyview Ranch for taking such good care of all of us.

And a special thank you to the PARTICIPANTS.

We may bring the plans, handouts, games, jars and a box full of pawpaws and half a pine tree, but YOU bring your stories, questions, experiences, humor and knowledge into every class! Thanks to what you bring, we always go home with new knowledge and great stories!

Bluegrass Ladies Sporting is loading up for WITO! 💙🔥🌿

If you know us, you already know we are bringing everything but the kitchen sink… mostly because Skyview Ranch already has those. 😂

We are SO excited about Breaking Barriers to the Outdoors and Wildcrafting Make-and-Take!

Expect to get your game on, make some things, laugh a little, learn a lot, meet some good people, and leave with something useful for your next adventure. And if you already know how we roll in a workshop, you know we are bringing the bonus rounds! 😉

We can’t wait to get there!! It’s so hard to keep a secret, so we may have to post a few hints for the Breaking Barriers ladies and the Wildcrafters before we arrive.
