🎉 1,500 BEDS DELIVERED! 🎉

This weekend was a VERY special one for our Sleep in Heavenly Peace – Richmond, KY Chapter! 🛏️❤️

We officially delivered our 1,500th bed! 🙌

Think about that for a moment… 1,500 children who now have a safe, warm, comfortable place to lay their heads at night. 1,500 dreams being given a place to grow. ❤️

This milestone isn’t just about beds. It’s about the incredible volunteers who give their time and energy, the donors who believe in our mission, our community partners who continue to support us, and every single person who has helped us along the way.

Because of YOU, we are making a difference—one bed, one child, and one family at a time. 🥹❤️

✨ A new school year. A new bed. A new beginning. 💙

Just before school starts, one little girl received something many of us take for granted—a bed of her own.

Until today, she had been sleeping wherever there was space: sharing a bed with a sibling, on the couch, or even on the floor.

Tonight, she'll climb into her very own bed, wrapped in fresh bedding and a handmade quilt, knowing she has a place that's hers.

A good night's sleep won't solve every challenge, but it gives a child a better chance to wake up rested, confident, and ready to learn.

This is why we do what we do.

Thank you to every volunteer and supporter who helps make moments like this possible. Together, we're making sure no kid sleeps on the floor in our town. 💙

This Saturday, we're scheduled to deliver 25 beds to children across Central Kentucky who are still sleeping on the floor.

Join one of our delivery teams as we bring each child a new bed, mattress, pillow, sheets, and comforter—all at no cost to their family.

With school starting soon, a good night's sleep can make a real difference. Every child deserves a place to rest, recharge, and wake up ready to learn.

You don't need any special skills—just a willing heart and a couple of hours to help bring comfort, hope, and a better night's sleep to a child in our community.

💙🛏️ Thank You, Central Baptist Church! 🛏️💙

A huge thank you to Central Baptist Church for your incredible partnership with Sleep in Heavenly Peace!

Earlier this summer, your students and leaders rolled up their sleeves during WAM Camp to help build beds for local children. Then, your congregation continued that impact by hosting a July Bedding Drive to help complete those deliveries.

Thanks to your generosity, we now have enough new bedding to outfit more than 20 beds, ensuring children throughout Central Kentucky receive not only a bed of their own, but also new sheets, a pillow, blanket, and comforter to make it a warm and welcoming place to sleep.

Your church has shown what it means to serve your community—not just by building beds, but by making sure each child experiences the comfort, dignity, and hope that comes with a complete bed.

What an incredible day! 💙

A huge THANK YOU to every volunteer who gave their time and heart to help us deliver 24 beds to children in our community. Because of your hard work, 24 more kids will no longer have to sleep on the floor. There is nothing more rewarding than knowing we helped give them a safe, comfortable place to rest.

We also want to extend a very special thank you to Quilts Across America for the beautiful handmade quilts. Each quilt is more than just a blanket—it is a gift of love, comfort, and kindness that makes every bed feel even more special.

It truly takes a community working together to make a difference, and today was a wonderful reminder of what can happen when people come together to serve others.
