From a Ziva Voices perspective, Rama Duwaji not only shines as New York City’s vibrant new First Lady.

She embodies everything Ziva Voices values, blending different backgrounds into a dynamic identity and showing that the future is shaped by broad, multicultural perspectives.

Rama has lived in more than one country and grown up in different cultures, so she feels connected to many places but does not belong only to one.

Her life experiences give her roots in several traditions, helping her relate to people from different backgrounds and making her perspective unique and far-reaching.

As a young woman and first-generation American born to Syrian immigrant parents, Rama draws strength from her immigrant experience and multicultural roots.

This unique background enables her to connect deeply with New York’s diverse communities, enriching the city’s cultural fabric and serving as a powerful example for the next generation.

We can't wait to see her impact, and hopefully, we will have a chance one day to meet her and display her act in one of our magazines.

The most impressive women are those who silently pave the way forward.

The ones that don't focus on what is not working instead focus on the strength that women all over the world have shown.

We can't believe it took us so long to discover Noroc work.

We are thrilled to introduce Mihaela Noroc here, an inspiring Romanian photographer, author, and the creator of The Atlas of Beauty.

For over a decade, Mihaela has traveled across 100 countries, capturing the unique strength, resilience, and individuality of women through her lens.

Her work does more than showcase diversity. It changes the way we see beauty, telling powerful stories from every corner of the globe.

As a best-selling author and passionate storyteller, Mihaela’s portraits invite us to celebrate womanhood in all its forms. Her vision deeply resonates with our mission at Ziva Voices, which amplifies authentic voices and celebrates the beauty of diversity worldwide.

If you haven't seen her work yet, head over to her website and order a book. It is incredible, and all the women in her books deserve our attention.

Today, we remember Dr. Jane Goodall. A trailblazer who shattered boundaries for women in science and the world.

At just 26, she ventured alone into Tanzania’s forests, armed with determination and compassion rather than convention. She transformed our understanding of animals and each other. Showing us that empathy, curiosity, and resilience can change the world.

Dr. Goodall’s journey was not just scientific, but deeply feminist. She opened doors for women everywhere by following her unique path and inspiring millions to dream beyond societal limits. As she once said, “Because I succeeded in a scientific world largely dominated by men, I’ve been described as a feminist role model… we need feminine qualities to be both accepted and respected, and in many countries this is beginning to happen.”

Her legacy serves as a rallying call for us to lift one another, empower the next generation, and utilize our voices and actions for the betterment of our planet and each other. Thank you, Dr. Goodall, for showing us how one woman’s vision can ignite a global movement
