Whether you're looking to connect, enjoy fun activities, or simply make great summer memories, there's something for everyone!
Interested in getting involved?
We're also still adding community groups, organizations, businesses, and volunteers who would like to participate during the week. You don't have to commit to the entire week. Just choose a day (or two) and help provide activities, games, crafts, resources, or simply spend time investing in the youth of our community. (Link for signup is in the comments)

Congratulations to Miss Jr. and Miss Juneteenth 2026!

Meet the inaugural Miss and Miss Junior Juneteenth 2026 in Lexington, Ky...... Ryleigh Williams- Miss Juneteenth and Campbell Henderson -Miss Junior Juneteenth! Congratulations Ladies!!!!

These two young ladies are awarded a $250 scholarship, sash, crown, Dr. Opal Lee Inspiring Women Barbie Doll, Flowers and many opportunities to educate and lead at community engagements and events to heightened awareness about the significance of Juneteenth and the importance of community.

And congratulations for all the contestants who stepped up to put in the hard work to be seen, heard and to show their beauty from within. You all are amazing.

All winners received a beautiful gift bag with inspiring Juneteenth material and goodies.

We need your help locating a missing child. Mia Sheffield, age 21 months, was last seen on June 3, 2026, around 3:00 pm, in the 2800 block of Ark Royal Way when she walked away from her home. She is 2’ tall and around 27 pounds, with brown eyes and dark brown hair. She was last seen wearing a white tank top and green watermelon shorts.

Anyone with knowledge of Mia Sheffield’s whereabouts is asked to call 911.
