Tearra recently celebrated an exciting milestone—two years with Three Oaks Center as of August 27, 2026! Over the past two years, she has consistently shown what it means to be a dedicated, compassionate, and dependable member of our team.

Tearra stands out for her positive attitude, strong work ethic, teamwork, dependability, and willingness to help wherever she is needed. Whether she is supporting a client, assisting a coworker, or simply bringing positive energy to the workplace, Tearra approaches each day with compassion, professionalism, and a genuine desire to make a difference.

Her hard work, consistency, and team-first attitude have not gone unnoticed. Tearra is someone her coworkers can count on, and the care she brings to her work reflects the heart of Three Oaks Center and our commitment to serving others.

Three Oaks Center would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to the Leonardtown, Lexington Park and Charlotte Hall Rotary Clubs for their incredibly generous donation of backpacks and school supplies for the children and families we serve! 💙

Starting a new school year should be filled with excitement and possibility—not worry about whether you have the supplies you need to succeed. Thanks to the generosity of the Leonardtown Rotary, local students are headed back to school better prepared, more confident, and ready to learn! ✏️📓🖍️

Support like this means so much more than backpacks, notebooks, and pencils. It reminds the families we serve that their community believes in them, cares about their children, and is standing beside them as they work toward a brighter future.

Three Oaks Center would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to Word & Spirit Church for their incredibly generous donation of book bags! 🙏🏾✨
Your kindness and support will make a meaningful difference for the families staying in our shelters and our Persons With Disabilities (PWD) program. These book bags will help provide children and families with some of the supplies they need to start the school year feeling prepared, supported, and confident. 📚✏️

On behalf of the Three Oaks Center Board of Directors, staff, and the families and individuals we serve, we extend our deepest condolences to the Jarboe family on the passing of Tom Jarboe.

Tom was a true friend and supporter of Three Oaks Center and of our mission to serve individuals and families experiencing homelessness in our community. Throughout our existence, Tom and his mother were incredibly supportive of Three Oaks and the work we do. Their generosity, encouragement, and belief in the importance of helping others have left a lasting impact on our organization and the people we serve.

Tom dedicated his life to serving others—through his military service, his work in the community, and his commitment to St. Mary’s County. His legacy of public service, leadership, compassion, and generosity is one that will continue to inspire our community.

We are especially grateful for the kindness and support Tom and his family extended to Three Oaks over the years. Their belief in our mission helped strengthen our ability to be there for people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

Our hearts are with his wife, children, family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him. Tom’s impact on St. Mary’s County will not be forgotten, and neither will the difference he made in the lives of so many.
