North Elkins Community Action Association A group of citizens in the North Elkins District of McDowell County who engage in community service and want a better quality of life for ALL who join.

We are among the many who want to continue living active and productive lives; we want to give back and share experiences that encourage and enable our members to get out for recreation and social activities. To travel; exercise; dance; fish;to encourage our youth, seniors, veterans to keep going strong for ages to come. Yes, we lack and need a community and recreation center in our district; to a

lleviate the need for having to go outside of our own communities for school, community and reunions; church outings. We want to explore everything that is available to us; in our own backyards... Our local state parks; lakes; camping but as a group... Life is still an adventure; join us...
