We Moved This Summer!

We need your help getting the word out!

Please share with the families in your unit that the Lewisville Scout Shop has moved to a new location so they don’t accidentally make a trip to our old address.

📍 NEW LOCATION:

Lewisville, TX

We’re just 1 mile up Highway 121 from our previous location, so we’re still close by!

Did you know golf can be good for your health AND your heart?

Walking an average golf course for a round can add up to 5–6½ miles! And if you carry or pull your clubs, you’ll get even more exercise along the way.

So, next summer, why not tee up a new adventure and try the Golf Merit Badge at summer camp? You might just discover that you really enjoy the game!

**Help Us Send 30,000 Holiday Wishes to Our Troops!**

The holidays are a time for giving thanks—and we want to make sure our service members feel that appreciation, even when they’re far from home.

Scouts, families, and community partners across North Texas are teaming up to create **30,000 holiday cards for our troops** before Thanksgiving!

**Three ways YOU can help:**
1. **Create a card** — Make a holiday card to brighten a service member’s day.
2. **Host a station** — Set up a card-making station at your school, church, workplace, or community group.
3️. **Invite others** — Get your friends, family, classmates, and neighbors involved!

**Want to drop off your cards?**
**The Lewisville Scout Shop has a collection station located on the counter in the store.** Bring your completed holiday cards by and help us reach the goal!

Every card takes just a few minutes, but it can mean the world to someone serving away from home. 🇺🇸

**30,000 cards. One community. One big THANK YOU!** ❤️🤍💙

Worth Ranch update.

https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1EHrFMwMyQ/

We know there are still many questions surrounding Worth Ranch and the impact of the Ross Fire. We also know that, at this time, there are still many things we simply do not know. To help keep our Scouting community informed, Longhorn Council has created a Worth Ranch & Ross Fire FAQ page on our website: https://www.longhorncouncil.org/Worth-FAQ. The page brings together answers to some of the most common questions we are receiving and will be updated as additional information becomes available.

Have a question that is not addressed? You can also submit an FAQ idea through the page. When possible, we will provide an answer or update as we learn more.

We are also excited to announce that our friends at Summit Emblem have created a Worth Ranch patch with all net proceeds being donated to Longhorn Council. Patches are $10 and are only available online through the Summit Emblem website: https://summitemblem.com/worth-ranch

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and support as our staff, volunteers, Executive Board members, and Property Foundation trustees navigate this unprecedented situation. We know how much Worth Ranch means to so many people, and we are committed to keeping our Scouting family informed along the way.
