It's that time again!!
Saturday, May 1st-the TX FTC North Hedrick May Day Mech Madness Hybrid Qualifier hosted by Hedrick Garage. Preparations have been underway for weeks to ensure that the day is a success. We look forward to seeing all the participating teams!

Hedrick Garage won the Innovate Award at the NTX-FTC FLYSET remote qualifier!
This award celebrates elegant design, robustness and out-of-the-box thinking.
They also qualified for regionals.

As with many events, this year has been very different from the last for the robotics team. But the work continues at Hedrick Garage!
The team has put in so many hours these last few months collaborating, building and learning.

It was an edge-of-your-seat experience Saturday at the North Texas FTC Regional Championship! Hedrick Garage was ranked 8th out of 48 teams after their second match with a score of 83-53. At the end of the regular matches they were chosen by the #1 team, TechnicBots from Plano, to be one of their two alliance partners in the semi-finals! Unfortunately, TechnicBots' robot stalled right before one of the matches.
It was a disappointing end but everyone is looking forward to next year!
