Hello TREKkers!

We have received several verbal and email confirmations for 2026 TREK, which is taking place near the Little Belt Mountains at Hughes Mountain Lodge, June 14-18, 2026. We are excited to explore this new location!

If you have planned on participating, NOW is the time to submit your official application form on the Ski for Light Montana website:

The 2026 Trek includes 3 days hiking, 4 nights lodging in the Hughes Mountain Lodge, located near the Little Belt Mountains.  All meals are included.

TREK for Light 2026

Sunday, June 14 – Thursday, June 18

4 nights lodging, 3 days hiking, all meals included.

Hughes Mountain Lodge, located near the Little Belt Mtns.

The cost of this event per person is approximately $200. We encourage participants to either make a

donation of any amount to Ski for Light Montana or raise funds to help offset the cost of this event.

Scholarships are available to both hikers and guides.

The listed capacity of this venue is 15 persons, with the possibility of a couple more staying in a camper on site.

There are mapped hiking trails adjacent to the lodge and other opportunities elsewhere in the beautiful Little Belts area.

Hughes Mountain Ranch lodging offers a unique experience. Located in central Montana, roam, relax, and recharge in this beautiful remote location within the Little Belt Mountains. Enjoy mountain biking, fishing and wildlife viewing in the summer and big game hunting in the fall.
