Elks Donate $9054 to Local Rural Fire Departments

The Lewistown Elks 456 awarded local rural fire departments with the Montana State Elks Association state major project grants. Each state Elks association has its own state project. Montana Elks state major project is geared toward helping rural fire departments.

Lewistown Elks awared the Community Cupboard with their National Elks Beacon Grant. The grant amount for $3500.00 was used for food, hygiene and essential items to help replenish the shelves during this pandemic.

Members of the Lewistown Lodge #456 present the Lewistown Soccer with a $250 donation. The Lewistown Soccer Club is still raising money for the new soccer complex. Lewistown Lodge plans to implement the Elks Soccer shoot this coming year!

Happy Sunday all!! I hope this finds you enjoying the sunshine on this beautiful morning!!
As many of you know, this last weekend was the Montana Midwinter Meeting. This year Polson Lodge hosted. Three of us has the opportunity to attend- our ER, Keithon Walter; our Leading Knight, Kris Gapay; and yours truly Secretary Angie Wright. We learned much in the 3 days we were there, and will be bringing this new information back to share with you at the scheduled meeting tomorrow so we hope to see you there!!

We are recharged and excited and ready for what’s to come!!!
