4 of us from the club shot at The Owensville Mo Gun Club 100 Bird Derby and Calcutta today. Bill Davis took 2nd place and Arlin Hoener took 3rd while us other three just shot ok. We squadded up with our buddy Arlin Hoener. Also pictured is Bill Davis. Eric Yarbrough. Ryan Hudson. Brad Hudson. And also Fancy and Ruby Davis(Our vlub Mascots and fan club).
We picked up a new to us Pat Trap for future use. We had a great time with our friends Blake Hoener and Britt Borcherding and all the Hermann and Owensville shooters.

Hey local trap shooters listen up and take notice !
Owensville Gun Club in Owensville Mo.(20 minutes south of Hermann Mo on Hwy 19) is having a big 100 bird derby and Calcutta this Saturday. Calcutta bidding starts at 11am with first squad out at noon.
Let's support these guys like they have come and supported us. I've been there once and it's a great place.

While Terry Seals was selling the old trap I was picking up another great find in Silex Mo. Another Picnic table that's 8ft long and will seat 8 adults. You will probably see it next year on the north end of the club grounds.

Sold the old trap ! This is not the original 1970s or 80s trap but it's the 90s and 2000s trap.
Several men. Women. Boys and girls have laid birds on this trap. Several of the Original Twelve have laid birds on this trap. Many long time club members have laid birds on this trap. Many current club members. FFA High Schoolers. 4H members. You name it they have done it.
Out with the old and in with the new ! It was time to move on.

Let's get ready for the last shoot of the year for our club.
This type of shoot is funnier then some shooters think it would be.
10 Bird shoots that end in a tie have fun with backing up from the 27 yard to even further back.
Protection shoots you pair up with someone and play that game.
Then im sure everyone knows how to shoot Annie Oakleys.
Come join the fun this coming Sunday.
ITS WORTH THE DRIVE !
