The Foundation of Our Pack 🐾

As houndsmen, we all have that one dog.

The old-timer who helped train not only us, but every hound that came after them. The gray muzzle that was once the fastest in the woods, now moving a little slower than the rest. But their heart? Bigger than Texas.

They may not be able to keep up like they once did, but they’ve earned a place that no young dog can ever fill. They taught us patience, toughness, and what it truly means to be a houndsman.

Let’s see those old timers who are the foundation of your pack. The one you’ll never forget. The one who shaped not only your hunting, but left a mark on your heart that will last forever.

The summer is speeding by and before we know it the seasons will be here and upon us. What has everyone been doing to stay occupied while waiting for the pursuits to begin??? If you’re like me the to do list has not got any shorter.
