Raise-Op joined with Housing Justice Maine members today to advocate for a more fair tax code where the ultra-rich pay their fair share, funding for the Eviction Prevention Program, as well as expanded operations funding for emergency homeless shelters. We need all of these measures to take on the housing crisis, in addition to the Governor's $70 million proposal to increase the state's housing supply. We urge legislators to pass a bold and forward-thinking budget that lowers taxes for regular Mainers and builds an economy that houses and serves everyone.
