📱 Parents: Let’s Talk About Online Safety

Our children are spending more time on phones, apps, games, and social media, making it important for parents and caregivers to understand online safety and know what steps to take to help protect their kids.

The FBI offers helpful information for parents, caregivers, and teachers about keeping children and teens safe online, including information about online threats, grooming, sextortion, and other risks.

🔎 Take a few minutes to review these important safety resources:
https://www.fbi.gov/how-we-can-help-you/online-safety

Talk with your children about what they are doing online, encourage them to come to you if something makes them uncomfortable, and make sure they know they can ask for help.
