It is May which means it's time to restock on your reusable grocery bags at the 95 Spring Street- Auburn location of Hannaford. $1 from each bag sold goes directly to our school's food pantry.

McMahon School Food Pantry has been selected again as a nonprofit partner in the Hannaford Fight Hunger Bag Program.
We will receive $1 for each $2.50 reusable Fight Hunger Bag sold throughout the month of May 2026 at the Hannaford on 95 Spring Street in Auburn, ME.

Feeling extra grateful for all of the donations our school pantry has recieved lately! We recieved hundred of pounds of food during McMahon’s Student Council food drive, and countless orders from supporters near and far from our Amazon wishlist.

And a major thank you to Sheila Roy, her team, and our amazing food pantry volunteer, Mel Dube for putting together 20 Thanksgiving Bags so our families can enjoy a warm meal on Thursday! 🦃🍗❤️

Have you stocked up on your reusable bags lately? For the rest of September, Hannaford will donate $1 to the McMahon Food Pantry for every $2.50 Hannaford Fights Hunger bag purchased at the Sabattus Street location. There's still time to help feed our students!

It's officially September, and that means our Food Pantry earns $1 for every Fight Hunger bag sold at the Sabattus Street Hannaford. Buy bags, help fund our school's food pantry! It's as easy as that!

We have been selected to benefit from Hannaford's Fight Hunger Bag Program! During the month of September, purchase a reusable Fight Hunger Bag for $2.50 at the 692 Sabattus Street Hannaford location, and our school's food pantry will receive $1. Together, we can make a difference.

Thank you to our partners Mel Dube, Jena Litrocapes, Walmart Transportation & Walmart Distribution Center for sponsoring a food drive to support McMahon’s Food Pantry. We’re so grateful to have supportive community members who share the same values we do- keeping our most important population, our kids, fed so they can rock it in the classroom!

Student Council is running a non-perishable food drive from November 4-15th! The winning grade level will win a party in the gym. Please consider donating to feed families in need!

Students will put the food items they bring in a box in their hallway. Student Council will come around to tally and collect the food items.

Thank you to Sheila Roy and her team for donating 10 Thanksgiving bags complete with a turkey and all of the fixings. And a huge shoutout to Kathi LeClair for ongoing donations. We have been able to send all of our pantry families home with Thanksgiving meals this week. Our families are so lucky to have people like you guys to support McMahon’s food pantry 🧡🐯🦃
