Kate Glaser
Kate Glaser is an award-winning storyteller, nonprofit leader, and Founder of Hope Rises, a global good news network dedicated to sharing stories that inspire hope, kindness, and community. Reaching an average of 45 million people each month, Hope Rises has become a trusted platform for uplifting stories and meaningful impact. Born in Buffalo, Kate began her career as a television news reporter in Buffalo, Rochester, and Manhattan before transitioning to nonprofit leadership and strategic communications. Through Hope Rises and its charitable initiatives, she has helped raise more than $1.5 million for Western New York causes and collaborated with nationally recognized brands including Disney, AAA, New Era Cap, Airbnb, the Today Show, and Ford Motor Company.
Kate’s work has earned numerous honors, including Woman’s Day Magazine’s “Hope Hero,” Nexstar’s Remarkable Woman of 2020, Buffalo Spree’s Best Community Advocate of 2024, and the New York State Assembly’s Woman of Distinction Award. Above all, Kate is a wife and proud mom of three who believes the most powerful stories are those that bring people together. Whether emceeing community events, fundraising for local families, or leading Hope Rises’ annual Shine Gold campaign for pediatric cancer, her mission is to help people find hope and remind the world that kindness is always worth sharing.
