We have an important and time-sensitive update regarding the Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP) rule change.

This is to alert folks with Non-domiciled CDL or CLPs that there is an emergency stay of the new federal rule on non-domiciled CDLs/CLPs that creates an opportunity for those who currently have a non-domiciled CDL/CLP to potentially renew, or make address changes, etc., that were prohibited as soon as the new federal rule was issued on September 29th.

Since the federal government may ask the Supreme Court to reverse the emergency stay of the new rule, this window of opportunity may be very brief, so the BMV wants current non-domiciled CDL or CLP holders to know they should ACT NOW.
