Happy American Education Week, LEA!

🎉 It’s and kickoff day! This week, we'll be sharing our educator members' priorities and voices.

📊 Did you know that 91% of Idaho educators surveyed in 2025 listed stopping voucher schemes as their top priority?

Why? Because public education is a critical public good — it strengthens our communities, fuels opportunity, and ensures every Idaho child has the freedom to learn.

Thank you, Lewiston Firefighters Local 1773! !

Today, we honor the teachers who help build the very foundation of our community.

Before we were firefighters, we were students—shaped by educators who taught us discipline, compassion, and the value of service. Their lessons live on in the way we show up for others every day.

Lewiston Firefighters owe a debt of gratitude to the teachers who prepare the next generation of citizens, leaders, and first responders. Thank you for being the heart of our community.
