We are so proud of our Maine Energy Americorps Program Members!

"I started volunteering with GCSM this past winter with my AmeriCorps program. I meet twice a week with Mnawer, a college student at Central Maine Community College who needs help with reading and writing for his English class. It's been great to work with and get to know Mnawer, and being able to help close the learning gaps that many students face (especially during the pandemic) with GCSM has been an incredibly meaningful experience for me." -Grace

"I am impressed by the bond that Grace and her tutee have been able to build together on a virtual setting. She has been great at helping him build academic skills and more importantly build up his confidence." Krista Pierce, GCSM Tutor Coordinator

Thank you, Grace!
