Campaign Update đź’™

Because of your generosity, and the Foundation’s $1,000 matching commitment, we are proud to share that a total of $3,592 was raised in support of the Bilodeau family through our Emergency Relief Campaign.

These funds will be delivered within one week to provide immediate financial relief while Jason continues his recovery.

This campaign marks an important step in our expanded mission to support Maine families facing sudden hardship. We are deeply grateful to everyone who donated, shared, and stood alongside this family.

Together, we can make a difference in the lives of families across our state.

Thank you for helping us show what Maine Strong truly means. đź’™

Last day to give. đź’™ On January 30, Jason Bilodeau of South Paris suffered a sudden cardiac event while working on a job site. He underwent heart surgery and is now home beginning cardiac rehabilitation. As a self-employed carpenter and primary provider for his family of six, Jason remains out of work for an unknown period of time as he focuses on recovery.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who has donated and shared this campaign so far. Your generosity is already making a meaningful difference for the Bilodeau family!

Our Emergency Relief Campaign closes tonight. Every donation goes directly to the family, and funds are distributed within one week of the campaign closing to provide immediate relief.

If you’re able, please consider giving before the campaign ends.

Thank you for continuing to show what Maine Strong truly means. đź’™

This week marks an important next step for our foundation.

Born from tragedy, we have stood alongside those impacted by 10/25/23, inspired every day by their strength and resilience. That commitment remains unwavering, and it always will.

What we’ve learned is this: community changes everything. When people come together, they can make a real difference in someone’s darkest moments. That belief now guides us as we expand our mission to support Maine families facing unexpected hardship.

Today, we are honored to bring that mission to life by launching our first Emergency Relief Campaign in support South Paris residents Jason Bilodeau and his family after a sudden cardiac event left him unable to work during his recovery.

Here’s how it works:
đź—“ Campaign runs Tuesday through Friday
đź’™ We will match the first $1,000 in donations received during that time
⚡ Funds are delivered within a week of the campaign closing

You can learn more about Jason’s story and donate through the link in our bio. Every single dollar goes straight to the Bilodeau family.

As we expand our efforts to help families like the Bilodeaus, please know our support for those impacted by 10/25/23 continues. More details on that commitment will be shared soon.

If you’re able, please consider donating or sharing. Together, we continue to show what Maine Strong truly means. 💙

Two years ago, we lost 18 beloved members of our community. They were parents, children, partners, friends, coworkers, and teammates. Today, we pause to remember them and hold space for every survivor, witness, and first responder who showed courage when it was needed most.

Grief is not a straight line. In these two years, we’ve seen love, bravery, and neighbors lifting neighbors. The legacy of the 18 lives on through stories shared, acts of kindness, and the way this community continues to show up for one another.

We remain here for the families, survivors, and all who are still healing. If you need support, you are not alone. Visit the link in our bio for local resources.

We invite you to share a memory or message of support in the comments. May we carry their light forward, together.

Together, we are Maine Strong. 💙🤟

Tomorrow, our community gathers in remembrance. Bring a candle, wave as you drive by, or simply hold space with us as we honor the lives forever changed. đź’™

Join us on Friday, October 24th at 4 PM at the bridge near Veterans Memorial Park for a visible show of remembrance as our community begins 24 Hours of Remembrance.

We will stand together in honor of the lives forever changed, and in support of all those still healing. Signs and candles will be available for those who wish to gather at the bridge, and community members are also encouraged to drive by, wave, or honk in solidarity throughout the evening. Every gesture of support is a reminder that we move forward together—as one community!
