Formation of the Clearwater Chapter of Idaho River Community Alliance
CCIRCA was formed to allow anglers, guides, and business owners a voice, advocating for sport fishing rights in the State of Idaho. We voted in members, organized a corporation, and opened an avenue for people to become members, so their voice can be heard when our state is under attack of its fisheries. So please come and unify with us, become a member, and help us stand up for our fishing rights for the State of Idaho.
We formed in December of 2018 after a threat of the closure of our steelhead season was brought about by 6 conservation groups. We joined forces with the Riggins chapter to be a strong voice for the state of Idaho. Through much hard work, and a few compromises, we were able to get the groups to back down, and drop their frivolous lawsuits against the Idaho Fish and Game.
We now stand united, welcoming new members and stand prepared for the next battles, that will come down the pipeline. We will be ready for it this time, out in front of the battle, instead up having to fight our way there.
