Thank you to the VFW Post 7487 scholarship committee members for your time and dedication. Today we reviewed 23 “Patriot’s Pen” submissions from Lewiston-Porter Middle School students. A special thank you to Mr. Sweeney for collecting, organizing, and verifying the completeness of all entries.
The “Patriot’s Pen” national scholarship is open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders nationwide, with a $5,000 first-place award; and over $55,000 in total prizes.
